Ruben has been practicing law for 20 years. He has extensive trial experience in both federal and state courts. He handles juvenile cases, appeals and post-conviction writs. The majority of his practice is devoted to criminal defense. Ruben strongly believes that each and every client deserves his best work and effort. All clients and their families are treated with respect and compassion. Ruben ensures that clients have all the information necessary to make an informed decision regarding how to proceed with their case and every client deals directly with Ruben. He is licensed to practice in Texas, the Western District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Ruben has argued cases before the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States and the Eighth District Court of El Paso County, Texas. Ruben has an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubble which identifies a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability.

Ruben P. Morales was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He graduated as Valedictorian of Ysleta High School in 1985. He attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving his Bachelors of Business Administration in 1989. He obtained his Juris Doctorate (JD) from UT Austin in 1992.
